The NAR lawsuits are changing the way our real estate industry works.

2024 really is the year of CHANGE... after a lonnng battle against the National Association of Realtors, a jury ruled in October 2023 that the association had "conspired" to inflate real estate commissions.

Regardless of your opinion on this matter, this lawsuit (which awarded sellers damages of nearly $2bn) brought about unprecedented change.

Real estate agent commissions will look totally different going into 2025...

...and the changes have left many buyers now wondering if they'll have to face up to 3% real estate commissions, on top of the closing costs and actually buying a house.

There's also changes in how agents work with buyers, and now buyers will be required to sign an Buyer Agency Agreement just to get through the door of a property for a showing...

...and now there are changes to open houses too.
