This video shows about 10 trains in West Chicago, IL. A CN freight with a GT GP38-2 leading slams across the triple diamonds of UP's Geneva Sub. Note: for this clip, the full train is shown, if that is not your preference cut to 2:00', as from there on out shots show power only.
Watch closely in that CN train and there is an unpatched MILW hi-cube, I had no idea those were around. Also, someone pointed out to me that the tower operator extended the train order arm, though I didn't see any actual orders on it. It was actually scraping the sides of cars, though it is hard to see in the video.
Other rare items shown include a duo of unpatched CNW C44's in nice light, some older UP cars. The ten trains shown are just some of what I saw between 9:40 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; this junction is so busy it was quite an effort to film it all. Including are several UP freights, a Metra train (the only one of many I filmed) and finally, a massive CN freight with two SD70's roaring hard to pull it. It was 149 cars, and at least the last 50 were all empty centerbeams.
