If you've been using V-Ray 5 in your 3D visualization workflow for a while, then you've heard or already tried out a 3D model and HDRI library called – Chaos Cosmos. It is a complete high-quality 3D library that includes everything you need for Producing Pro ArchVIZ.
Chaos Cosmos is a universe of smart V-Ray content, organized into seven categories: Furniture, Accessories, Lighting, Vegetation, Vehicles, People, and HDRI skies. There are also no animated characters: the initial batch of content is all static assets.
In our opinion, the library is well structured. It is simple and easy to navigate, with a few useful tools to help you choose more efficiently, like picking a model by colour or place (indoor, outdoor, living room, etc.).
The 3D library can be accessed through an icon in the V-Ray 5 toolbar. Chaos Cosmos is now included in V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino and Revit.
Let's take a look at how does Chaos Cosmos work with V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max:
