In 1998 Te Vaka toured Europe for 5 months. The first performance of the tour was at the WOMAD festival in Caceres, Spain. It was the most amazing atmosphere - people were hanging off buildings, the crowd was so big but everyone was having a great time. The Te Vaka band members loved the enthusiasm of the Spanish people for learning the Pacific Dance moves.
