Amidst nationwide protests in the U.S. over the death of George Floyd and biased policing, a pocket of Seattle has emerged as a police-free zone.

Protesters have occupied an entire city block of the Capitol Hill Neighborhood, including a police station. They started out calling it the 'Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone' or CHAZ.
