This panel discussion took a look at how various organisations are addressing the challenge of the climate emergency with representatives from government and sectors of industry. The webinar featured perspectives on the construction sector and sustainable materials; a local authority's climate action approach; the just transition from fossil fuel dependence in the peat industry to alternative energy sources; the national water utility; energy research and innovation activities in the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, SEAI and also, solving planning and environmental issues that hinder the development of renewable energy projects.
