Ingredients
-210 g diced rhubarbs or 1 large rhubarb
- 1/4 to ½ cup xylitol granules
-½ to 1 cup water
- 1 juice of one orange
- cinnamon powder (optional)
- ½ tsp orange zest
Instructions
Sterilize a bottle to store the jam.
Place the diced rhubarbs in a medium saucepan
add orange juice , water and sugar. Mix well and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer with a lid on for 1 minute, take off the lid then simmer for 10 minutes
Add orange zest after 5 minutes and continue to simmer for 10 minutes turning regularly
Take care when the jam has thickened and turn off the heat.
Leave to cool for 15 minutes then pour into the sterilised container
Store in the fridge or freeze in containers.
