Touring the inside of the Chateau Laroche, also known as Loveland Castle Museum, in Loveland, Ohio. A World War I veteran named Harry Andrews, built the castle by himself. It took him nearly 50 years to finish the castle. He hauled rocks from the nearby Little Miami River. He passed away at the age of 91.
***In the video I stated that he started building the castle in 1921, but the correct year is 1929.

......"Harry tallied all of his accomplishments for posterity: 2,600 sacks of cement, 32,000 quart milk cartons for concrete bricks, 54,000 five-gallon buckets of dirt, 56,000 pail-fulls of stone. Visitor totals: 50,531 in 1980, over a million in 25 years. The visitor list, still posted on the castle's kitchen wall, was neatly typed by Harry until he died, but has been handwritten ever since".....
