Zhong Kui isn't anything special, but it is pretty entertaining that it's still possible to solo a boss that uses Imposing Stance. Most of his attacks are physical, so the armor alone does a lot of the work. I also played somewhat riskily because I didn't want the battle to take forever.

Surprisingly, I think Toki is the best partner for this battle. She helps keep Zhong Kui's defense down with Pierce Armor and occasionally removes his turns with Dark Sword. The most helpful thing is actually her Hiding passive, which redirects attacks to Nanashi, which is helpful because he has physical resistance and buffs to minimize the damage.
