Raga Dhani Kauns. Pt. Bindu Madhav Pathak (1935-2004), hailing from Dharwad, Karnataka was a virtuoso musician of the Rudra Veena and Sitar instruments. His teachers were is father Pt Dattopant Pathak (disciple of Ut. Murad Khan Beenkar of Jawara) & Ut. Rajab Ali Khan of Dewas. Following Ut. Murad Khan’s footsteps, Panditji practiced Khyal Ang on the Rudra Veena. Some of his brilliant disciples include his son Pt. Shrikant Pathak, Pt. R. V. Hegde , and famous artists such as Hindraj Divekar & Jyoti Hegde.
