Released in 2020 at Wal-Mart, but picked up March 2021, this new motorized toy is a throwback to retro classic toys and tribute to the 1956 science fiction Forbidden Planet movie (one of my favourite films of all time).

Robby has 4 different sounds including 2 phrases from the movie and 2 science-fiction sound effects. He walks along steadily, twists at the torso, lights up with LEDs brightly, and has spinning gyroscopes at the crown of his head. Arms produce a little circular motion as do the wrists.
