Myths such as : "it's always 20% off!" or "It's the GOSPEL!"

Neither of which is true!

Zillow and their Zestimates are a POWERFUL tool when used correctly, but incorrect Zestimates can be a hang-up to getting your house sold or purchased.

The point of this video is NOT to analyze the methodology Zillow uses to create the Zestimate! It's a powerful and sophisticated formula that they tweak to make it better.

But when homeowners or home buyers use it as THE source for pricing, problems arise.

No computer formula can completely take into account the condition, upgrades, or market around your home.

While the Zestimate is a powerful tool, and lets face it - it's FUN to look at home values! - it is just that, a tool and a starting point.
