Today we arranged a private tour with our AirBnb hosts, Roland and Maprang, to visit a high viewpoint, monkeys, a HUGE cave, and a temple. The power in Ao Nang was scheduled to be off so they could do maintenance on the system, so we would be without power and much needed a/c. We visited Same Nangshe Viewpoint then had lunch at the Samet Nangshe Hotel, followed by monkeys and a cave (where a monkey jumped on Meghan), and finally the Wat Bang Thong temple.
Being the rainy season it did rain a lot, but we managed to avoid it while we were outside the van and stayed relatively dry! We had a great time on this tour, and had lots of fun with our hosts. The kids really took to Maprang towards the end, and even walked with her and held her hands. We are The Traveling Texans- Matt and Meghan, our kids Ryan and Heidi, and my cousin Christy!
