As part of our commitment to broadcast the John Smith's Grand National, Channel 4 has introduced a ground-breaking innovation to bring you even closer to the world's most famous horse race at Aintree this year.

The Horse Tracker app gives you detailed, real-time information on the location of a particular horse during a selection of races over the course of three days of the National Festival.

The app synchronises with Channel 4's live coverage and when a race starts, gives you a detailed view of a chosen horse's position, speed and distance left to run until the finishing post.

And when a race finishes, you will see confirmed results as soon as they are announced.
