On a day when the Dhingra Commission is slated to present its report on the Robert Vadra-DLF land deal, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi evaded the media. Earlier in the day, Robert Vadra posted on his Facebook page that the Narendra Modi government has been unable to prove allegations being made against him regarding his land deals. He said that he would always be targeted for political gains. Meanwhile, the Congress has jumped in to defend Vadra, alleging vendetta politics and that the Haryana government had showered undue favours on a Gurgaon-based charitable trust headed by the jurist.
