This Dying Matters Week, we are raising awareness of the small practical things that our staff can do to support the relatives and carers of those approaching end of life.
In this short film we hear from some of our amazing staff about how they provide support to the relatives and carers during a difficult time.
This includes offering free parking permits, providing refreshments, tea and coffee vouchers, comfort packs, iPads for virtual communication and ensuring relatives and carers are aware of the other services within the hospital that may support them.
A SUPPORT leaflet detailing what we can offer will be available soon in all ward areas as part of an information pack to give to relatives/loved ones.
