About Dr. Rick Hanson
Rick Hanson, PhD, is a neuropsychologist, Affiliate of the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, and founder of the Wellspring Institute for Neuroscience and Contemplative Wisdom. A summa cum laude graduate of UCLA, his work has been featured on the BBC and NPR, and he is an invited presenter at leading universities, including Oxford, UC Berkeley, Stanford, and Harvard.

Daniel J. Siegel, MD, currently serves as the director of the Mindsight Institute and co-director of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Siegel is the author of The Mindful Brain and Parenting from the Inside Out. His internationally acclaimed bestselling text, The Developing Mind, has been utilized by a number of organizations including the U.S. Department of Justice, the Vatican, and more.
