The first full week of the 2017 legislative session was focused on providing relief for individuals in the individual health insurance market who are facing skyrocketing premiums. The Senate dedicated extensive floor session debate and committee hearings to pass SF 1, a bill offering premium rebates while instituting health care reform measures. Also on the program, Department of Revenue Commissioner Cynthia Bauerly joins Shannon to review Governor Mark Dayton's proposal to reduce taxes by $300 million dollars for about 450,000 Minnesotans.
