The International Monetary Fund praised India, China for their contribution in global economy. IMF Chief on April 06 said that India and China is expected to account for half of global growth for 2023. IMF’s praise came when global economy is estimated to grow less than 3 per cent in 2023. This is lowest global medium term growth forecast since 1990, as per IMF. Despite slowdown in developed nations, India economic growth has garnered applause by IMF. Last year, IMF hailed India as “a bright spot on the otherwise dark horizon”. The International Monetary Fund will next week release its World Economic Outlook.
