Collectif AOC
Piccadilly Circus Circus
#CollectifAOC
Created in 2000, Collectif AOC was the initiative of six circus artists fresh out of the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC) and one administrator. The company was formed because the artists had a stong complicity, a common vocabulary and an overflowing vitality. Since its inception Collectif AOC has become known for its creativity and electrical energy in performance.
2nd September 2012, central London was transformed into a live circus. Over the course of one incredible afternoon Piccadilly Circus became a pedestrianised playground hosting 143 performances of 48 different acts by 33 companies across 15 spaces, with 247 performers!
Conceived and created by Crying Out Loud, Artistic Directors Rachel Clare and Aletta Collins
