Paturi is a dish where fish, chicken, veggies are steamed with signature Bengali spice mix prepared with Mustard Paste ,Coconut Paste ,Poppy seeds Paste and Mustard oil and steamed to perfection within a pocket of Banana Leaf but in this recipe I have used Bottle Gourd leaf instead of banana leaf.
Ingredients:
150 gram small size prawn
4 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp poppy seeds
1/2 cup scraped coconut
4 green chillies
6-7 tbsp mustard oil
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 th tsp tumeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
3 bottle gourd leaves
