ABOUT KC CARES FOR KIDS WALK
The KC Cares for Kids Walk is an annual community fundraiser that welcomes more than 1,000 patients, families, friends and Children’s Mercy staff members to Children’s Mercy Park for a fun, family festival to celebrate the advances in pediatric healthcare and research. Since its inception in 2014, the KC Cares for Kids Walk has raised more than $500,000 for the Children’s Mercy Cancer Center Auxiliary, supporting patients battling pediatric cancer and blood disorders at Children’s Mercy.
ABOUT THE CHILDREN'S MERCY CANCER CENTER AUXILIARY
Founded in 1987, the Children's Mercy Cancer Center Auxiliary provides financial and volunteer support to address the needs of children with cancer and blood disorders. Funds raised support breakthrough research while also providing resources for parents and families of patients seen in the Children's Mercy Cancer Center.
