3 x Fantastic Tenor Ukuleles you need in your life!


Kala Elite Spruce/Rosewood Tenor - Introduced at the 2020 Winter NAMM show this model is a spectacular throwback to the classic Martin guitars of the 1930's. Chunky in all the right places with a wider 38mm nut, rich and deep sound - I only hope that the audio in the video does this Ukulele justice because I think Kala have done a fantastic job of looking at the past to build for the future.

The Kanile'a Diamond Super Tenor is not a new model but is definitely a Ukulele that deserves it's fair share of the spotlight today. First released several years back; the Diamond model was designed and built initially for a limited time as a present before gaining wider popularity and becoming a part of the main line of Kanile'a Ukuleles... The Diamond is still incredibly hard to come by, this is only the 3rd we have had at Southern Ukulele Store in 5 years.

Finally today we look at the Snail S60T Flamed Acacia Tenor. This Ukulele has been extremely hard to have in stock the past 6 months... We finally had a delivery of five this week (written at time of video being filmed). They are all gorgeous, they all sound sublime - at half the price of a Hawaiian K brand, Snail have really elevated what we should expect to get for £500 in 2020. Look out Pono!
