This time, we will focus on the treatment of the Small-Angle Xray Scattering datas for the determination of spheric nanoparticle diameter, size distribution & concentration.
At CEA Paris-Saclay we developed a software called pysaxs.
We use it for the scalling in absolute intensities on all our saxs instruments.
And the fitting of the curves for example to extract size and concentration of nanoparticles
You have a view of the fantastic nanoparticles produced for the European project npSize. The objectives were to propose nanoparticles with multiple shapes and different materials : golds, titania and silica.
The PTB measured all this samples on the SAXS beamline. You can find the saxs experimental datas from all this samples on open access on the zenodo website.

The npSize 10 have a size of 50 nm, with a very monodisperse distribution.
the npsize 12 & npsize 13 have a bimodal distribution with controlled ratios and mixtures of 30nm and 60 nm.
