Eric tells Thorne he’s been able to hide his dislike of Deacon, but relishes the day that Bridget finally sees Deacon’s true colors. Deacon tries to explain to Bridget, but she isn’t interested in his excuses and banishes him to hell. Bridget gathers up all of Deacon’s belongings and burns them in the trash. Just then, fireworks go off and Bridget declares her independence from Deacon. Brooke appreciates Stephanie’s offer to help, but says she doesn’t want Stephanie to be at Deacon’s throat. Stephanie counsels Brooke to forget about Deacon and concentrate on the baby.
