Dr Andrew Shepherd is Senior Lecturer in Theology and Public Issues.

Andrew believes that the historical Christian faith tradition offers significant wisdom to help us understand and respond – at personal, communal and societal levels – to the challenges our contemporary world faces. His research considers challenges such as environmental degradation and climate change, economic inequality, social polarisation, violence and militarism and the emergence of surveillance capitalism.
