Have you ever been photographing in snow and been disappointed because the photos come out looking rather dull and dark? It's because snow is very bright and can c trick your camera into making the images darker than they should be.
When you're photographing snow it's often best to set the camera to overexpose by at least one stop to keep your snow photos looking bright and clean. And because snow is a whole sensory experience a good strong composition is important. More on this in Photographing snow pt.2
