Kumano Kodo is a UNESCO World Heritage site comprising a network of pilgrimage routes walked by pilgrims for centuries. Combining nature and cultural immersion, it's a unique travel experience and one of my favourite journeys for mindfulness and reflection and enjoying the quaint charms of small towns in Japan.
