How FaceTime's Ringer Changed Over 11 Years

FaceTime first appeared in iOS 4 on the iPhone 4 in 2010.
There wasn't a FaceTime app at that time, so you could call someone in Phone, then tap "FaceTime" to switch to a video call. That would use the regular outgoing Phone ringtone since you're making a regular call first, but if you went to your contacts, then hit "FaceTime" from a contact page, you would hear FaceTime's outgoing ringer (heard in this video).
The high-pitched outgoing FaceTime ringtone was the same vc~ringing.caf sound file until iOS 11. However, in iOS 8, the spacing between each ring became shorter, so you would heard the outgoing FaceTime ringer more.
When iOS 11 came out, the vc~ringing.caf user interface sound file changed to a deeper tone and spacing similar to the pre-iOS 8 versions.
The video shows the wallpapers for each new iOS version under the FaceTime outgoing video call interface, with the FaceTime outgoing ringtone in sync for each version.
