A few thousand Algerians protested again, Friday, June 28, saying they will not give up, and will continue to demonstrate until their demands of a civilian rule are met.
Protesters have met regularly on Fridays, demanding the departure of interim President Abdelkader Bensalah and Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui, who they see as part of the old guard that has run the North African country since independence from France in 1962.
Demonstrators chanted against the ruling elite and held up banners shouting: "Civil state, no to a military state." (Reuters)
