On the occasion of "Semaine Jeunes Publics" (Expérience Musée 2011), the artist Marco Godinho, whom Mudam has given carte blanche to, invites Fábio Godinho (Théâtre de Personne) and Tomas Espedal for a performance and a reading.

Fábio Godinho proposera une interprétation du texte de Stéphane Mallarmé Un coup de dés jamais n'abolira le hasard. Créer une partition spontanée et directe comme cela se fait dans l'écriture. Laisser place à la surprise et au hasard. Se confronter soi-même au hasard de la création par une fluidité sonore avec un instrument où les extrêmes se confrontent. Laisser place au blanc autant qu'au noir... Fábio Godinho propose une lecture mettant les accents du texte sur la composition visuelle des mots et du rythme qu'ils évoquent.
Tomas Espedal, 7.30pm-8pm (reading, in English)
In contemporary Norwegian fiction Tomas Espedal's work stands out as uniquely bound up with the author's personal experiences. His last book, the prize nominee Walk, introduced us to the wanderer Tomas. Against Art is a novel that focuses on the author; on how a boy approaches art and eventually becomes a writer. It is about the profession of writing, about routines, responsibility and obstacles. Against Art has been awarded the Norwegian Critics' Award 2009 and The Gyldendal Prize 2009. It was also nominated for the Nordic Council's Literary Prize, as was in fact Espedal's previous book Walk.
