News12 Long Island visited TSCW to see the damage that was caused by vandals just days before the unveiling of the first phase of historic renovations of Tesla’s lab.

Renovations and fundraising efforts continue in transforming Tesla’s last remaining lab into a global science center and museum. Recently, the chimney and cupola of the lab required emergency renovations, enabled by funding from the Musk Foundation and Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation. Shortly before TSCW revealed the renovations in a global livestream event, vandals broke into the lab and damaged the property.
