Flight searches to these places have jumped the most year-over-year.

1. Mexico City, Mexico – up 73% year-over-year
It has the second-highest number of museums, behind Paris.
It was also named the Design Capital of the World in 2018.
2. Bali, Indonesia – 65% increase in KAYAK searches
Bali has made KAYAK’s list three years in a row.
Expect beautiful beaches, detailed temples and pricey airfare.
3. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – up 49% year-over-year
Expect new buildings mixed with old temples.
Even during peak season in December, hotel rates hover around $130 a night.
4. The Bahamas – 45% increase in KAYAK searches
Airlines are opening new routes to the islands, but you’ll have to open your wallet.
Flights range from $400 to $500 round-trip, and hotel rates are about the same per night.
5. Guadalajara, Mexico – up 43% year-over-year
Expect top notch tequila, hip art galleries and low prices on hotels and airfare.
