The Hamilton Mountain hike passes three beautiful waterfalls (Pool of the Winds, Rodney Falls, and Hardy Falls) and opens onto an incredible view over the Columbia River Gorge. It has a great view of Beacon Rock from above!
The Hamilton Mountain Trailhead is on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, a little less than an hour's drive east of Portland and Vancouver.
The trail starts out in a lush forest environment, and after a little over a mile it arrives at the waterfalls, and then climbs steeply up to the top. There are multiple route options, but the one featured in the video is about 6 miles in length. The link to the route on AllTrails is available here: [ Ссылка ]
While it would be worth hiking this trail for the view, the waterfalls are equally stunning. The Pool of the Winds is particularly unique; the water plunges down a narrow chasm in the rocks, and you can feel the blast of wind and mist emanating from it.
