On the 14th of March, 2019, diesel locomotives 42101 and 4702 worked "The Cunarder", a charter by Cruise Express, en route to Sydney. The train is running as 8L88.

Earlier in the day, T357 and P22 conveyed passengers from Melbourne to Albury with the standard gauge Spirit of Progress carriages. Both trains then met at Albury and this train conveyed passengers further north.
