Curve has impressive hardware, but it is the software of Curve that transforms simple image-guided surgery into Brainlab Information-Guided Surgery.
Both screens of Curve can be controlled independently and the software start screen is easily accessed from either monitor by pressing the home button.
Rapid reconstructions are completed within the DICOM viewer by touch, including 2D and 3D reconstructions. The pre-planning functionalities of the software include image fusion, as well as the outlining of new objects and the creation of trajectories.
For record keeping or educational purposes, Curve also takes screen shots, records video and streams to any linked computer within the hospital.
Like it's hardware, Curve software is transforming navigation in the O.R.
