Notebooks are the go-to-tool for data science in both academia and the industry. However, many challenges remain — collaboration, reproducibility, versioning, missing interactivity, integrations with other systems. With expanding data roles and exploding remote work, the need for data tooling that fosters collaboration grows. In this talk, we will discuss the notebooks paradigm and present Deepnote - a new kind of data science notebook with real-time collaboration and running in the cloud, built for the next generation of engineering and data teams.
Elizabeth is a Product Manager at Deepnote, a YC-backed startup building a collaborative notebook for data teams. Prior to Deepnote, she worked as a consultant and a Product Manager at McKinsey, developing advanced analytics solutions for McKinsey's clients.
