Another old vid. This vid is pieced together from filming this mask multiple times. Never got around to an upload until now. Anyway, this is a C50 respirator, a civilian oriented variant of the FM50/M50 respirator. It was designed with consideration for use by Law Enforcement. It uses an identical facepiece to the M50, only with the bayonet receivers replaced with 40mm ports. Filters may be installed on either side. A blanking plug seals the unused port.
The mask is shown with the voice projection unit (VPU). The VPU is compatible with the FM50/M50 masks as well. The internal mic is a removable assembly. The outserts are compatible with the FM50, C50, and FM53. Shown are the tinted outsert as well as the "Blueblocker Orange/Amber". Essentially, the blueblocker outsert creates higher contrasts and are great for the use of sight reticules and iron sights; similar to the amber shooting glasses.
The C50 is shown in this vid with an Avon hose. This type of hose would be connected to a powered blower unit. Just decided to show it with the mask since, well...it looks cool ;)
