Explained is a great new series on Netflix that is produced by Vox. The show covers a variety of topics in 18-20 minute episodes. What I love about this show is the same thing I love about YouTube: It gives you a a lot of information in a short amount of time. In one of my favorite episodes the show covers the topic of cricket and how it transitioned from a British sport to an Indian one. As interesting as that topic is by itself, the show does a great job of using video, images, and interviews to give a unique look at the subject.
