During our month long stay in Chiang Mai, Thailand (with Mandy's grandmother who came to visit us!), we visited the Buddhist temple Wat Chedi Luang, which translates from Thai as "temple of the big stupa."
Right in the center of Chiang Mai's Old City, the coolest feature of this temple was indeed the absolutely massive 14th century stupa! No women are allowed in one of the temples on the grounds, but we were able to go into the Grand Hall and observe the monks chanting. We end our night with a quick trip to 7-11! 😛
