The O405NH is the immediate low-floor successor of the original O405 range, developed specifically for the Australian market.

The CNG version uses the M447hG engine, with 5 speed ZF 5HP500 automatic transmission (which may sound similar to SMRT's O405 Volgren fleet). The wheelchair ramp is installed on the front door (unlike Singapore which is at the rear door) and is fully automatic.
