The Slave Route Challenge, a unique race with historic significance for the slaves who help build Cape Town, takes place on Sunday.
There are four different distances, from shorter to longer runs.
The race goes through District 6, the Company Gardens, the BoKaap and the Castle of Good Hope. It finishes at the Grand Parade.
