Follow along today as I show you how I hide my bait at my snare dump to try and stop the birds from strip off all my bait in hours. I learned this trick from my trapping buddy Fern who traps right next to me here, many years ago Fern shared this tip on how to bury the bait but still keep the action going for the canines.
Next I show you how I hang my snares with a drill and a piece of heavy wire to support the snare and how I use plastic cloth pins to mark the location so I can locate my snares from a distance without having to walk right up to each one.
