After my first video on Reptile, I decided to get back on the video grind with my 2nd most played kombatant in Mortal Kombat 1, Reiko. Reiko is a very interesting case in MK1 because of how diverse his kit is. Being a zoner while also being a command... sorry, kommand grabber, he has tools to get up close but his main job is to play keep away on the battlefield. He is sort of a mixed bag when it comes to his role in MK1 and he is definitely not for everybody.

After many hours of research, labbing, and matches with Reiko, this guide will show you my perspective on how I get the most optimal use from his full kit. Reiko is definitely someone who takes patience and research to learn to use him effectively, and I hope this guide steers you in the right direction towards playing him!
