Ciseo S.A. of Belgium has designed and built a fully automated system for the handling of syringes. Strictly speaking, the system consists of two cells, one of which separates out and feeds 600 syringes per minute to the filling station, while the other groups the filled syringes into trays of 100 with the utmost precision. Cleanroom-compatible Stäubli six-axis robots do the main work.
