The BJP is planning an early inauguration ceremony which the Congress party alleges is aimed at gaining electoral points before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The question is raised – why would a party inaugurate a structurally incomplete temple? The opposing Congress stated that its senior leaders will noticeably be absent from Ayodhya on the 22nd of January – consistent with their stance against the temple's construction.
