There are not too many good Malay Popiah Basah around anymore and one of my favorite place for this delicacy is at the Padang Brown Medan Selera (Opposite Petron Station) on Jalan Johor. This stall has been around since the 1960s but the original person has since passed away and has left the business to his two daughters who are running the stalls.

If you are ever in Penang looking for Popiah Basah, do check this out. However do take note that they usually open late (like about 2pm and their time is a little erratic.
