👉Our CEO @anuacharya discusses India’s growing biotech economy during a talk show on DD News. She also talked about the Biotech Startup Expo organised by the Department of Biotechnology and Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC ) on June 9 and June 10.
🤝“It was an absolutely fantastic event and the fact that getting the Prime Minister of the country to come and visit all these innovations and able to see the impact of biotechnology helps this sector to go way further than where are today,” she said.
She also praised how BIRAC helps young start-ups to grow. “I think what’s happening in the biotechnology sector in the last few years is very very encouraging. We have also seen that BIRAC has actually been able to fund so many startups that otherwise would not have seen wings. I think that for me has been the best example of how the government can actually help in pushing forward and giving wings to young startups.”
