Join us on the first in a series of visits as we undertake the conversion of this 200-year-old agricultural barn into a new summer kitchen and boot room. The West end of the attached red brick and pantile barn had previously been converted into the north wing extension of the Tudor cottage which is the original building on the site and now joins the barn to the main early Victorian Farm House.
The main barn has now been extended into 3 adjoining stables and we are about to open the west wall on both sides of the chimney breast to give access into the downstairs cottage garden room.
The build is at first fix electrics and plumbing stage, some steels are already in place and others are about to be fitted as new windows are replaced into historic openings which have been bricked up for probably 100 years
