As a smallholding we try to reduce our outgoings as much as possible, but we still want modern entertainment. We realised that the way we want entertainment is on demand, not according to a TV schedule.
A number of years ago we cancelled our TV licence and have had no visits or letters from the TV licensing authority using completely legal methods which are easy to follow. We also now have high quality TV programming from the streaming channels for LESS THAN HALF the price of the TV licence, completely legally.
